Health and Safety | Beyond the Pandemic
While COVID-19 has not been completely eradicated, it seems to be largely under control across the majority of the world. Most of the countries we operate in still have at least a few COVID-19 regulations and policies in place. However, some, in particular South Africa, have removed them altogether.
Throughout the pandemic, our team worked tirelessly to ensure that EDU Africa remained compliant with global COVID-19 industry and government protocols. Even though many of these have become less stringent, and in some cases have fallen away, the safety, health, and well-being of our partners and program participants continue to be some of our top priorities.
Our health and safety team has developed a set of guidelines to replace our COVID-19 protocols as a way to ensure that minimum standards for health and hygiene are maintained in all our programs. These are contained within a document we have named “Program Health and Hygiene – Minimum Standards”. If you would like more information on this, please feel free to reach out to us.
We are delighted that the COVID-19 pandemic is somewhat behind us and that some semblance of normality to global travel has returned. However, as mentioned, we remain committed to providing in-country programs that are safe and promote the health and hygiene of our participants.
