EDU Africa is excited to announce its upcoming participation in The Forum’s 20th Annual Conference. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Boston Hotel from 20 – 22 March.
This annual conference has been providing a platform for discussions for more than two decades. It aims to explore the crucial challenges and issues that affect education abroad. This year’s conference will mainly focus on the past, present, and future of education abroad.
The 20th Annual Conference will focus on programming in the following areas:
- Rethinking the ‘why’ of education abroad: Rearticulating the value proposition
- Meeting the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s learners
- Building, enhancing, and expanding mutually beneficial partnerships
- Foundations of education abroad for an evolving field
- Leveraging technology for accessibility, efficiency, and effectiveness
- A sustainable future through education abroad
Career advancement, leadership development, and support for professionals, faculty, researchers, and graduate students at all stages
Dr. Heidi Barends, our Academic Director, will collaborate with Dr. Marketa Lepicovsky, Academic Director at Customized Education Programs Abroad (CEPA), to present this year. Their presentation, “Absolutely Incredible? Using AI tools to evaluate student learning abroad,” will be at 13:45 EST on Friday, 22 March. EDU Africa and CEPA form part of the Global Learning Collective.
