What others have to say:

Participant from the University of Pittsburgh

EDU Africa provided us with a variety of different activities in which we learned about different facets of South Africa and its people. We saw amazing diversity and I feel like we have a better perspective of the country for seeing multiple locations and people.

Faculty Member from Eckerd College

My students and I had opportunities to engage with residents in communal lands as well as educators and professionals in these same areas. This immersion allowed a greater appreciation of what it was like to be Zimbabwean. Our integration with world-renowned conservation biologists, wildlife professionals, and veterinary medical specialists engaged our academic curiosity surrounding the amazing wildlife portfolio that is Zimbabwe.

Participant from Indiana University

EDU Africa takes the stress off of the planning element for a place so different than back home, and allows you to truly take in and experience Africa to its fullest extent. EDU Africa knows what to schedule to make you have a rounded view of the area and make you truly fall in love with whatever country you travel to with them.

Faculty Member from Heartland Community College

EDU Africa truly is a transformational experience for students. They have the perfect blend of program related activities and historical and cultural experiences. The guides did a fantastic job helping them understand how their studies back home directly related to their experiences in South Africa and the cultural impacts on agriculture as well. I cannot recommend their program enough and will undoubtedly bring students back again!

Participant from Central Piedmont Community College

EDU Africa helped open my mind to new experiences, new people, and new insights into the world around me. I was able to gain a deeper understanding of history, biology, and was able to experience things I never thought I would be able to, like snorkelling for sharks, learning about African culture, and interacting with people from all different backgrounds.
