Innovative Learning in AI and Technology

This program will begin with orientation and cultural immersion sessions to acquaint students with Tanzanian culture and the local technological landscape.

Following this, students will be introduced to engaging and comprehensive AI-focused programs, with a special emphasis on women in technology. This will encompass intensive AI projects, workshops, and sessions in collaboration with students from the University of Florida Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and local experts. Additionally, students will collaborate with local organizations to support women in technology through mentorship programs, tech boot camps, and panel discussions. Throughout the program, students will work on real-world projects, such as creating AI solutions for community issues, developing platforms to support women entrepreneurs, and analyzing local data for business insights. The program will culminate in reflection sessions and project presentations to local stakeholders, providing students with hands-on experience and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. The customizable nature of the program ensures that it can be tailored to fit the unique goals and interests of each group of participants.
