In this program, we will explore Zambia’s rich history and dynamic political landscape.

Students will delve into the depths of the country’s past as we trace its journey from pre-colonial times to present-day nationhood. Engagements with local historians and experts will help to unravel the complexities of Zambia’s historical narratives, including the legacy of indigenous kingdoms, the impact of British colonialism, and the struggle for independence. Participants will learn about contemporary political discourse as they analyze the democratic governance structures and key political figures shaping Zambia’s future.
