This business internship provides students with insights into the business ecosystem in Kenya and provides them with opportunities to network and grow their practical business knowledge.

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are an integral part of the Kenyan Economy. Kenya has over 7 million MSMEs contributing approximately 40% to the GDP. The number of registered businesses in Kenya increased significantly over the last few years due to affordable 3G internet connections and an investor-friendly government. This business internship provides students with insights into the business ecosystem in Kenya and provides them with opportunities to network and grow their practical business knowledge. Interns will be based at a business hub that supports various start-ups in Kenya and will use their skill sets to support the development of emerging local businesses.
Prerequisites: Interns should be enrolled in a degree program at a tertiary institution and be studying business or something related.
