Currents of Globalization aims to guide students through Ghana’s rich history with trading ports.

Participants will delve into the historical significance of Ghana’s ports, which were utilized for the slave trade, cocoa harvesting, and export, as well as the recent expansion of the ports. Students will engage in interactive activities that explore trade routes, the global supply chain (including local manufacturing and exports), and their impact on the Ghanaian economy, environment, and people.

Learning Outcomes

The curation of this program option incorporated the learning outcomes listed below. However, specific learning outcomes and activities can be constructed in collaboration with our dedicated curriculum development team to create a customized program.
